It seems this tour doesn't count the climbing points. Both the official site and cyclingnews.com do not mention it. The KOM award might not exist in this tour. If this is true, we should just remove the KOM Classification section. --Celticshk Talk 07:41, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yes I've also not noticed any points being shown anywhere. In the beginning fo the tour it was mentioned (on tv), that there was no jersey this year. But not that there were no points being handed out. (Which seemd logic since only the last two stages featured climbs, so sponsors ae not so interested in a KOM jersey as the jersey would only be worn in the last stage). However in the last two stages I have noticed that they have given bonus seconds for coming through first on climbs instead of points. No standings are to be found anywhere so I suppose they are left out this year. If certain, I'll remove it. (feel free to to so yourself also if you are sure) Pelotastalk 15:59, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
